What is the Community Contribution?
It is the 3.5% that keeps Harambee safe and independent. Your contribution goes to work immediately:
- Escrow protection that holds every gift securely until funds pay out.
- The Guardian logic: automated WhatsApp invitations that bring in your 3 Champions to vouch for you.
- A permanent digital receipt for every donor, delivered automatically once the bill is settled.
Who are "Champions"?
You never fundraise alone on Harambee. Every cause needs 3 Champions, friends or family who publicly stand by the campaigner. Vouching costs them nothing. Their voice and their trust are what give your page its weight in the community.
Why is there a $1 verification fee?
One dollar, paid once, buys a biometric identity match through trusted verification partners. It confirms you are a real member of the community, protects every donor, and earns your page its Trust Seal. That is how we keep fraud at zero.
Are there additional fees for donors?
No. Donors are never charged to give. Every cent your community contributes is honored in full, and every donor still receives a permanent receipt for their gift.
